Beacon
In the 2005-2006 school year, CCLCS adopted the acronym BEACON to describe the kind of school culture and community we strive for.
A BEACON is defined as:
- A signaling or guiding device, such as a lighthouse, located on a coast.
- A source of guidance or inspiration.
I will
Become a bright light,
Expand my horizons, shining,
Aspire to greater heights,
Communicate clear signals,
Open my eyes and be aware. I will
Navigate the waters of knowledge.
