Japan Homestay 2005

Digital Diary

Students who participated in the Lighthouse School's Japanese Homestay Seminar are eligible for the summer travel program. The seminar explored Japanese culture including religion, food, family life, art, literature, and history. A rigorous survival language program was undertaken. Each student will bring back the experience of travel to Matsuyama-machi by producing a digital research project on one element of contemporary life in Japan.

Our school is grateful to IBM and KDDI for donating phone service and the use of camera-phones so that our students could keep a digital diary of their trip. Thank you.
