The Cape & Islands Youth Council on Sustainability...

is a youth-led organization open to middle and high school students from Cape Cod and the Islands. The Youth Council was created by young people... to give young people a voice in their own community.

The Council began with the Sustainability Youth Action Summit. The Sustainability Action Plan (315K PDF) was created by twenty young people who came together from eight Cape Cod schools the weekend of October 24, 2003 for the Sustainability Youth Action Summit at the Eastham Coast Guard Station.
