Massachusetts is one of just eight states without an anti-bullying law. In the wake of the Phoebe Prince tragedy in South Hadley, that may change. In March of 2010, the Massachusetts House and Senate passed different versions of bills that could result in the nation's strongest anti-school bullying legislation, which could mandate: anti-bullying curriculum; staff and teacher training; and reporting of severe bullying to the state.
