Art - Students contribute to IFAW show
Sixth graders studied the expressive paintings of artist Franz Marc and created their own watercolor interpretations of endangered animals in their habitats. These paintings were sent to IFAW headquarters in Yarmouth as part of the annual International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) Children's Art program. The mission of IFAW is to improve the welfare of wild and domestic animals throughout the world by reducing commercial exploitation of animals, protecting wildlife habitats, and assisting animals in distress.
