Roots and Shoots
Six CCLCS Roots & Shoots members travelled to Washington, DC in late March, 2007 to participate in a One World Youth Project Conference.
Five students from Roots & Shoots joined several CCLCS alumni, Miss Allie and Mr. Niles at a special ceremony celebrating the International Day of Peace at the United Nations on September 21st, 2006. They heard remarks from Kofi Annan and participated in a forum with Muhammad Ali, Elie Wiesel, Jane Goodall, Michael Douglas and other Messengers of Peace.
